Thank you for applying to adopt or foster! While you wait for a response:
– We will be contacting your references
– We will be contacting your veterinarian (please make sure you have given them permission for us to contact them)
– We will email/text/call you for clarification or for more information only when required
– We will setup a home Visit (this will sometimes depend on the circumstances)

If approved you will then:
1.) Be matched with a dog
2.) Sign the Adoption Agreement and pay the adoption fee of $595

Are you willing to relinquish this dog back to FDC within the first year if the dog is not a good match?

How much time will you be able to spend with this dog daily?

How much could you spend on veterinary care for this dog in one year, if necessary? Do you plan on taking out pet health insurance?
