Sweetpea is a small adult female of about 3-4 years of age. She was brought into a spay event from the streets of Santiago Tuxtla and then was brought into FDC shelter. Sweetpea had Lyme disease but she is a fighter and survived. She is in Kelowna BC right now in a temporary foster home but her time there is ending.

Sweetpea is a sweetheart and loves cuddles and belly rubs. Her foster mom says she is “spunky, and loves walks and being out in the sun”. She would do best in a home without cats or “Alpha” dogs. It would also be best if she was in a home that has someone around frequently as she needs a few more than normal pee breaks (likely because she was pregnant several times) Sweetpea weighs about 7-8 kg and is spayed. Because of her previous Lyme disease, all veterinary files will be made accessible to potential adopters. Sweetpea is ideally looking for a “foster to adopt” family as we want to give her another pre adoption blood test to check her spleen.
